Langley, WA

After our ferry ride, we took N&P to visit the cute little island town of Langley, WA. Despite the (typical northwest) overcast day, beach combing for sea glass on the rocky shore was tons of fun. We even had a surprise sighting of a Spotted Ratfish (as later identified for us by iNaturalist.org), a crazy looking deep-sea shark with glowing eyes, as it got pulled near to shore by the incoming tide.
